What happens if I've lost or forgotten my Packing Key?

For security reasons, Passpack cannot recover lost or forgotten Packing Keys. The Packing Key is a unique encryption key that keeps your information highly secure. Therefore, it is important to keep your Packing Key private and secure at all times.

What should I do if I lost access to Google Authenticator or YubiKey and cannot log in?

If you have lost access to Google Authenticator or YubiKey, please contact Passpack Customer Service, and they will assist you in regaining access to your Passpack account. When Two Factor Authentication is enabled, Passpack supplies ten emergency codes that allow you to log in and reset your 2FA preferences. Ensure that you keep these emergency codes safe.

What should I do if some Passpack functions, such as Search, stop functioning?

If some Passpack functions, such as Search, stop functioning, log out of Passpack, clear the cache and history from your browser, and log back into Passpack. This should help to restore the functionality of the affected features.

What should I do if Passpack is not auto-logging out quickly enough for my security preference?

By default, Passpack is set to automatically log out after one week of inactivity. However, you can change this in the settings menu to various time durations, with a minimum of five minutes. In the Passpack App, go to Settings and select Session Settings. From this screen, you will be able to select the Time-Out and Log-Out durations that suit your security preference.

What should I do if other Passpack users cannot find my account to connect with me?

Your Passpack account may be set to Hide (Invisible Mode). To check, go to Settings in the Passpack App and select Account. Toward the bottom of the page, ensure that your account is set to Visible, so other Passpack users can connect with you.
